Be kind to yourself. Easy does it~ I had 60 days and then had a few glasses of wine. If I could only take that back. I mean, my head hurt for two days straight. And I felt bad because I had to get a white chip again.
Just consider yourself lucky. You tried it, it did not work, now you are back on the program.
We are glad you are here.

Thanks for sharing Lulu. I haven't had a drink for a month but the last two days I have wanted one. Reading your post helps me to say, NO.
Jumping back on the sober train quickly as you are doing is so wise, such a kind act to yourself. You are going to enjoy the ride even more this time.

Don't beat yourself up over it.
As Carol said now you know that doesn't work.
It doesn't work for me either and I have to keep reminding myself right now.
Thanks for the reminder.
Everything has a purpose so next time you think about only a lttle come here, reread this post, refeel what you are feeling now, and post what you are feeling and you will more than likely take a pass on the drink.
Good luck.

Try to keep this episode clear in your mind as you get sober again..
On a positive side.....you now know the nature of your dilema..
I had to "educate" myself a bit before accepting defeat.
Then i found a solution in AA and 12 steps.
When the "fog" lifts think about how your gonna stay sober and maybe do some research on s.r to find how others stay sober and content..
Take it easy....rest...fluids....peace.
god be with you......................trucker

thank you all for the support and advice i'm so glad i came back. for some reason i've avoided checking out aa because i felt it would increase my shame somehow being "public face to face" or maybe it will show that i'm a failure because i've been able to solve this problem...maybe its just that my head is clearing or maybe i'm just ready but i've decided to look into the aa meetings in my area. e-mail hugs to all.:ghug
