Head Shrinkage?

I had no idea a swollen face was one of the signs of alcoholism or could even be an allergic reaction to alcohol intake. I've noticed be face is much thinner than it was three weeks ago. I've even had people ask if I've lost weight. Has anybody else noticed a transformation? Weird!

Thumbs up

Just from not drinking anymore, I've dropped 30 pounds and everyone who sees me who hasn't seen me in a while notices it and comments on it. That makes me so happy!! It's one of the primary motivations I have right now to not ever go back to drinking. I look good and I feel good and those two things go hand in hand.

My gramps would swell form drinking. And even get these red vein looking thing on his face and nose when he drank more than usual.
I never really saw him not drink. But I have heard alot that drinking does make you bloated.
Even for me using cocaine. I get bloated. Especially after using I am for a few days.

I have had a comment from my mom that I don't look "so puffy" anymore. Also, I have seen some friends and family recently who have all commented on how much healthier I look, none of whom know I got sober. And you're right, I heard on some medical show one time, that a doctor could really tell how healthy you are by looking at your face/eyes, because so many things come out in our outward appearance when all isn't right on the inside.

Plus, I think when we feel good inside, it shines through!
