and the sh!t just keeps on comin'.... Drove an hour and a half to bring a bunch of stuff to college kid... only to hear her whining and complaining when I talked to her... as if I'd given her advice or something equally unwanted.  Then drove home and picked up high school brat... who wanted to be brought to 21 yr old sister's apt so she could cry over the sh!tty way her "friends" (??) are treating her. Me and 21 yr old sister have been telling her for months that these "friends" are NOT friends at all and to drop them like a hot rock asap. But she still hangs around with them and then cries and moans and complains about how badly they treat her!!! Ya can't keep your kids safe from "friends" like that. THey have to find out for themselves, but 16 yr old doesn't seem to be learning. So she's always unhappy and won't do anything to keep from the same crap happening all the time. It really bites my butt to see her taking all this abuse from these sh!tty people masquerading as her 'friends', but she won't listen to me or to older sister when we tell her to dump these @ssholes and do without their "friendship".

Can't sleep, damn it! Feel all hyped up and can't relax..... but at least I have a home to live in and a computer that lets me roam the world, meeting lots of different people with the same problems!:ghug

Dg,,Glad your ok..Just try again. I hope you didnt let that stupid little boy make you drink. I hate men sometimes..No offense to the rest of you. Momma..I know what you mean...My own cousin was suppose to come over this weekend and dye my hair. I asked her twice and she is all like ..Yea...I'll be over after work. She never showed up..Never called. I seen her online. AND she lives on the next street. She flakes like that alot. That pi$$es me off. Have the common friggin courtesy to say you dont want to or cant. least...I feel your pain. My family thinks by beating a dead horse..it will somehow miraculously come back to life. I have learned good tuning out skills. Bye BF..Good luck hon!!! Amy..that is some scary stuff right there. I eman how are you guys even suppose to run a business like that? Thats just rediculous. They should hire a guard or have a cop sit in te parking lot or something. Stay safe everyone. Hugs to my whiners!!!

Least.. Just know I'm thinking about ya hun. I can imagine being separated from your girl is hard, and you get to deal with the crap..not take joy in "the good stuff." I honestly don't know how I would handle it myself. Try to have good moments with her...you can vent here all you want.. after all, it is Whiner's! Many hugs

Woken up by 3 mosiquotes in my room: A papa, mama and little baby mosiquoto. I am so lucky to have found them all lined up together beside my bed - awaiting their feast. Yek! Creepy little creatures waking you up with all that loud buzzing right in yor ear. I wonder if citronella candles work on them? I live near the swamps/wetlands. Waa!!! I have so much to do tomorrow - I'll do it with bags under my eyes for sure now..........

I'm pretty desperate. This is getting old and it really gives me the hibbie gibbies to wake up like that. Plus, when I squished them blood ran down my walls. I was thinking, I'm glad it was too early in the season for them when I was withdrawing from alcohol. Ha! I probably would have questioned my sanity...Alright, going to try and get back to sleep now. I feel so helpless not being able to get her to see that these are toxic 'friends'. I had the same problem in high school in that I was not very popular at all, but at least I had a few truly good friends. She only has these mean-as-hell kids, and they talk behind her back and treat her so badly. I can't 'fix' it but wish she'd dump these nasty 'friends'.

OMG....so tired this morning. Was up reading until 3 and today I really need to WAKE UP. I've got a fire department inspector to schmooze. He's trying to shut down one of my commercial buildings because we haven't moved fast enough for his tastes. Getting the building back up to code with the fire sprinklers, ridding the property of it's 2 acres of debris and overgrowth (told my boss to do it 7 months ago) and then getting all the building permits is going to be quite the task. He gave me until Friday. Impossible, literally. The city of C_________ are real jerks. We call them the gastopo there. Anyway, I have to go in with my big little girl eyes and see if this guy will sooften Then go shmooze bay cities and try to by #1 on their list and then go reassure my panicked tenants that I will take care of this for them. Schmooze is the name of the game. Once I wake up my adrenaline will start pumping - these are the days I enjoy my job - give me some action! A little property management drama!

Today is the anniversary of my Mom's death. It's been 11 years. So, I will cry for her today, and then remember what a good Mom she was to me and then be thankful that September is almost over. (never a good month for me AT ALL).

i'm very undecided what i want to make for dinner. have some guests coming. can't decide if i want to make baked spaghetti or regular eat off the top of the stove spaghetti. my whine - i need to get a life.

I'm so sorry NoMoMerlotMama. I still get sad at times thinking about my father who passed away. It happened years ago and it happened yesterday sometimes. July is our family's bad month (and also my birthday). I hope you enjoy the good memories today and think of a couple funny ones. That always makes me feel better.

I heard dryer sheets are suppose to repel mosquitos too. Dont know how well that works. Oh momma..Big hugs. December is my month of craziness..Not because of the holidays either. Ananda..howd it go? Least...DG has a good idea I think. Getting her invovled in soemthing where she can meet new friends. I am so tired today. I worked 15 hrs yesterday on 3 hours sleep. I wanted to go in early today. But I am so drained. Tomorrow..tomorrow. I will do it. I have to. Its 1:45 pm..my morning...so morning whiners.

| Least...  Boston...mosquitos? You ain't seen nothin', compared to the Jersey Bombers! And, they don't just buzz around your ear...they dive bomb! Honest! BTW...you know that blood you squished out of them was probably your own!?! Unless you want to call in one of the CSI forensics people, I would bet on it! Mama...my only brother passed away on July 5, 1973...my sister and I still have a hard time getting through every 4th of July, because we know what's coming. BF...think of it as an "educational vacation"...and, thank goodness for computers, eh? Just "reach out" and touch us...we'll touch back! Every Wednesday, we have Jackpot Bingo...everyone (staff and residents) buy bingo tickets for $1/each. There are two prizes, and 1/3 goes into the Residence Council for our activities. I volunteered to help sell the tickets...so, I've been scooting around all morning. This is a "tuff crowd".

My little cousins school bus got into an accident this morning. I guess they are all OK. They kept them in school and my cousin and aunt arent beating dwon the school doors.So maybe it was just a minor one. Havent got all the details yet. If my grams doesnt leave that dam cat box alone!!! I dont wake up until 12 or so. I work until midnight and dont get to sleep until about 3 or 4 am. I mean geez...I will get to it when I get up!!!
