Hello Jers! Thanks for the concern, but I consider burning bridges to be the equivalent of walking out on the job, which fortunately I haven't done yet. I'm really close. I fully intend to work out my two weeks, though.

I quit my last two jobs before this one without having anything lined up. No major disasters ensued...besides, I like a little uncertainty...breaks up the monotony of my life. No matter the situation at hand, I've always been able to figure out things enough to get by. If I can't find employment right away, oh well... Something will eventually come around. I do believe it.

When anything becomes completely unbearable, I get out as soon as I can to save my mental stability, safety net or no safety net. My current job is severely threatening to sabotage my sobriety, so it has to go. Now I'll have the time to settle down and think before rushing into another job eyes completely shut. Keep your fingers crossed for me, people!

I feel the love...and, it feels gooooood!

Nothing to whine about right now...we had cinnamon toast and tea at 3:00...in honor of the first day of Autumn. The more things change, the more they stay the same. My mantra was always, "Any excuse for a party is a good excuse"...I just don't drink alcohol anymore...but, I'm still the consummate party girl!

Dancinggirl, I'm sorry he was such a jerk, but maybe it's better you found out now instead of after a few dates and/or getting to like him. I'm lucky (??) I never have to worry about being stood up... cause no one asks me out in the first place!! Actually I'm quite happy by myself, and tho I feel lonely sometimes, I have friends here and in 'real life' to talk to and love me for who I am, so I am truly blessed.

I don't really have a whine today, so I'm going to whine for my dog, the diabetic one who had surgery last Friday to remove a bump on his upper eyelid. It was for his own good, cause his right eye was always irritated and red, like having dirt in your eye all the time, and now it won't always feel like that... but he has to wear that damn E collar til next Monday and the poor guy can't even wash himself or scratch himself. I've been rubbing his face several times a day for him and he's so grateful that he licks me.

I have noticed one thing the E collar hasn't prevented... he can still eat poop out in the yard!!! Yuck yuck yuck!!! It's his only fault but sheesh! I have to go outside with them to make sure they can't do that.

Actually I'm quite happy by myself

My husband and I had been separated for two years before I quit drinking...so, I had to learn how to be alone without feeling lonely...like going out to eat, to the movies, even for a walk. 'Cause, if I waited for someone to go with, I wouldn't have done much of anything. And, they do caution us against being Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired.

Isn't that a disgusting thing they do!?! I once asked the vet, "Why?" He couldn't give me a definitive answer...just something dogs do!!! I guess that's why I would never let my dog lick my face...couldn't get that picture out of my head.

I am so annoyed with a note I found that my co-worker wrote to my boss - "I took the Visa from Kathleen. LET'S TALK." What nit picky thing to do. I used the Visa for gas - as I get reimbursed for my mileage. My boss and I go over every credit card statement (5 of them) every month. So petty and ludicrous. Like I'm going shopping on the company credit card. I needed gas to get to a property and had a note in the file. I'm so angry but I'm not going to say anything until it's brought up. I hate working with women sometimes. They can be the most two faced creatures! Grr!! That was a pretty good whine/rant.

No complaints today..Wait..yes..I have to make up my hours this week. Not a bad thing. I have been wanting to. But been too lazy. But now I have to since my 90 day review is next week. Wont much matter when they get the background check back. but hey..I am not gonna go out like a punk. I will always do my part til the end. So its 12 hour days the rest of the week. I need the money..so it wont be too bad I guess.

Bobble is staying for now. My gram isnt like reacting bad. She said she just had runny eyes. But her eyes are alwyas running. I have seen her have allergic reactions to pets before and she looks fine to me. I dont know. MAybe she just didnt like the smell or that the Bobble scratched the kids. We will see. She keeps telling me she is fine and will let me know if it bothers her too much.
I moved the cat box out of the kitchen by her room and into the spare room on my side of the house and cut her nails. So we will see. She needs to stop messing with her. Like cleaning the box and feeding her. Just cause I dont wake up at the buttcrack of dawn doesnt mean I am not going to do it. That pi$$es me off sometimes.

Thanks for the validation. I wish I hadn't found the note. It's going to be difficult to pretend it didn't happen but I can do that if it'll keep the damn peace. I try not to get involved in foolishness.

well its sorted for now as it is and my sw are still working further on it and rehab has said that they are actually breaking the law an they'll handle it once im there tomorrow an not to worry

my mate has just left from a really great visist
he rode his deadly treadly for 2hours to come see me off
so nice
im feeling heaps better an just wanna apologise for losing it earlier.
everything had gone so smooth til this morning it really rattled me i guess
