I wasn't happy with the way the furniture was laid out in my room; and, instead of waiting for Housekeeping to come over and rearrange it, she said, "Oh, the hell with it...and, moved everything around herself."

When she won today, she came looking for me, and actually forced me to take half of her winnings. I nearly broke down and cried!

Thanks Chi....it is really going relatively well....went to noon meeting and was a little too soon for that...will spend the evening on the couch or bed taking it easy...catch up with you all later and through in some whines for me

I've heard a lot of ideas - from drinking vinegar, to eating garlic, to rubbing baby oil mixed with dettol (antiseptic), to rubbing methylated spirits on you

but vitamin B seems to work - whether in supplements or the good old Aussie vegemite

LOL of course that'll only stop them biting you LOL not buzzing - maybe citronella will work...either the plant or candles...

or a bug zapper (they have silent ones now I hear LOL)

the castor bean plant is meant to be good too - whatever that is LMAO

Am on a second antibiotic now and drinking gallons of gatorade. Am to call doctor tomorrow with progress or problems. Did feel ok enough to walk the dogs today, so that's good.

That's cool about the Jackpot Bingo, and that nurse is a real treasure!

Where can you find a mosquito net in the US? Nice and soaked with potent bug repellant? It's like just because we can't get malaria from skeeters, we are denied adequate protection! The San Francisco region seems to need emergency supplies. Screw WHO, let's get in touch with USAID. We need to help our own before we go giving all the nets to Thailand and South Africa.

Dee - I was reading about that. Good idea. However, it's the buzzing that really bothers me. I just looked at my sticky tape and there is 1 already in there!!!! Hooray.

I think it's time to invest ina bug zapper. I wouldn't mind the noise really. I sleep like a cat and wake up several times a night anyway.

Katie - a net is also a good idea (Amazon.com here) but I don't think would be very attractive - I just redecorated my room and it's quite beautiful now. I'd lose points on HGTV Rate My Space if I did that!!!

Will be calling doctor and crying the blues. Terrible headache all last night, kept waking up to it, still there, and having strange scary dreams of being chased and captured. So woke up late this AM feeling worse than when I went to bed. This is ridiculous. Sober for 74 days now and feeling absolutely awful.
