i drank six beers this afternoon watching the liverpool match.......i've stopped myself now....but this is always the way.....

You were able to stop though! Be proud of that and start with a clean slate. If I had started, I wouldn't have stopped til I passed out. Let go of the guilt and be proud that you had enough willpower to stop!

I am glad you stopped at 6
it could have been much worse.

Welcome back. Now you start over with a new path to follow. Is the old one working for you? Keep trying and never give up. LOL

It's never easy when we slip. We beat ourselves up to the enth degree. But be proud that you were able to stop at 6 and not continue for 6 days like I would have done. That's why I can't have one, I can't stop. Good for you for having the willpower and the courage to say "no more!"

thanks for the replies everyone.....yeah i drank six during the game...wen the game finished i ate dinner and watched t.v...and stayed away from anymore beers.
