| Hey RO RO Ughhh Mom driving me nuts....maybe it is because I'm in recovery? I know she is in pain with regards to my brother however she is coming in here and telling me that i have no idea the pain she is feeling which ok on the level of not having a child no I do not...however... she is right now IMHO not strong enough to handle what is going on with my brother....she knew I was going to go see him and yet keeps asking me about him blah blah blah .... |

| and while asking....it is only creating more chaos and pain for her...why do that? And I have tried to end the convo but she then is getting angry at me! I came here for a peaceful little mini vacation...not to get wrapped up in this drama and have her upset with me! I have not done anything and we have been having a great time up until now! |

| Oh hon I'm sorry to hear that. Your brother lives in Florida also? Does she not see him, is that why she is asking you for information? I would feel caught in the middle myself if that were happening, and it makes sense to me that her behaviour is driving you nuts. When do you go home?? |

| Yup he is here and like about 5 minutes down the road.... She no longer see's him because he is still drinking... I go home on Tuesday morning-I just want to enjoy the time with her and not have to deal with the brother issue.... It was so hard to see him this morning and sit and talk with him for almost 2 hours while he was drinking vodka like it was water... he has lost so much weight and just looks terrible... I understand that my mom is not going to change and I know how to handle her most of the time but this IMHO she is not being fair to me... She was ok with me going to see him as it was my choice...she should have just left it at that...but now she is feeding into getting all kinds of information and then she is now upset and then next she is going to **** off my step-dad... Help  |

| Nans ...my mom has been this way ever since I was a little girl...recovery has taught me with the help of my sister how to handle her most of the time. Just sometimes I get overwhelmed which is not very often anymore .....she also use to drink and was in a mental hospital when I was younger...so a bit of issues she I know will never take care of but that is ok.... |
