mj I am not trying to blow you off, but when it comes to drugs you may find far more sage advice here http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/substance-abuse/ Most but not all of the folks here are alcoholics, I am, I found sobriety, peace and happiness in AA, you may want to consider NA a sister program of AA.

I definitely suggest NA- I've found a lot of support there to quit a variety of substances- pot included. If having someone watch the kids is an issue- some meetings have childcare there, or you can just bring them with you.

Hi MJ I found the first 3 days were almost unbearable. After that it got easier. It was about 60 days when I realized I wasn't even thinking about it anymore. Now I'm over 7 months... or is it 8? I 99% don't miss it at all - and I was a daily heavy user for 15 years. Good luck!!

MJ I just noticed where you are from, if they do not have NA there you may want to consider going to "Open" AA meetings.
