I wrote another poem a couple days later and thought I'd share it too: I reach out to you, you pull away. Tell me what to do with all this pain trapped inside. Release me, set me free. You turn to me, and stare cluelessly at what I have become; scared, helpless, feeble, weak. I am afraid, I need help. Help! You walk away, I scream inside. A voice inside whispers “end this wretched life.” I can’t. I won’t. I must. My fears diminish, I shed no tears, my life has no meaning. I am useless. I am helpless. No control…must have control. what to do, I reach out again, you turn away and I know what must be done. I am no help, I am hindrance, no need for me. I will be free. Free from this torture, free from this pain, free from this tainted ugly body, no more agony, no more hurt. No more suffering.

Yeah I tried to share them with my family and they freaked out. I don't feel that way now, but they don't seem to get that. I guess I just feel that maybe the poems could help one person who reads it b/c then they see that someone else has been there and felt like them. Plus it's pretty good therapy to get out how I felt before my attempt.

I agree, It is great therapy to get it out, and great for others to read. You also hit the nail on the head, I have felt "At home" several times reading the posts on this SR website because I have been there, and that's exactly how I felt in some cases. Goo dluck, let's journey together with our SR friends... Heavy
