Everybody, I can't believe I wasn't here to see this. I am sick about it. I just turned computer on for the first time right now. I have pm'd her and also sent her a regular email. Did not have her phone #! I'll let you know if I hear anything, but meantime maybe she'll come back, as I begged her to do in my messages.

Thank you, Ananda, but I can't get over the fact that I not only didn't see the original message, but then didn't even turn on the computer until just awhile ago. Sometimes our words can prevent a tragedy, I just wish I'd been there for her.

And Hevyn, I read this yesterday....I know even if I were on these boards all day I'd never be able to see everything....

I never to you for a psychic either!

Just let us know if you hear from her....of course, I skipped right to this subject, so I may have missed something, I often can only pop in for a few minutes, like many here probably!

Had a few PMs from her - sounds like she is going to treatment today and is very scared but anxious to go.

I think she should be gone there by now, in which case we may not hear back on her for a month or so.

I wish I could be with her and give her hugs!

We had a wicked nor'easter. Power finally back on - sorry I didn't get to check back. The last thing I heard from her was at 2:00am this morning & it was one sentence. She did say she was going to rehab but was very depressed. I asked for her to give her daughter (or mother) my email addy so I could stay in touch - don't know if she'll even see that email, though. I wish I had her phone # or address, but we never got that far - I honestly thought she was doing better until the last few days. If I hear anything I'll be sure to let you know. Thanks, friends.

i thought i was being taken to treatment but only to a 'crisis' center. tomorrow i will beg the guy from steps to send me to treatment for four weeks, not the interrogation place i was sent to today they asked me a lot of questions and then left me in a waiting room for over an hour. i had packed my stuff for a month long treatment and was disappointed and afraid. i want to go to treatment.

glad your posting. my internet connection is hit and miss right now. I don't know what you've tried so far, but the friend who was going to watch the dogs, can he/she help you call every treatment/rehab you can find in the directory and look for one that will take you? You probably already tried that...but I didn't want to assume.

i just got a call from the rahab place they wo''nt be able toatake me til tomorrow so they said just practice 'maintanaice 'drinking just to keep the withdawaal at bay til they can take me. i am praying the can take me tomorrow. i am so sick of being so sick. i want to be well.

You "sound" like you are doing a little better today. Be sure you have a ride lined up and on call and go AS SOON AS the bed is open.
