Good morning Rella .

I have a problem peeps. It's minor compared to some but I'd like some input from my favorite idiots please.

Problem... what to do: Husband was harping on his sister seeing me on my cell phone while I was driving (against the law here) out of the baseball parking lot last night. Trouble is... I was not on the phone. He refused to believe me even though all he had to do was ask the kids AND he could easily look at the phone or online record. He launched into his "I am not paying for a ticket if you get caught" speeches (I have no tickets or points at all BTW... haven't since I was a teenager). I am deeply resenting his trouble making sister as well as his attitude and lectures over something I didn't do.

I know I should *breath* and let it go but something as this seemingly non- issue is cause to set him off on one of his month long tirades about everything. I'm anticpating it. He's already started with the cold shoulder last night.

OK gyps - knowing that I probably couldn't do this...i would suggest tell him you are going to call sis and deal directly with her about this, then call sis and tell her you didn't, why did she think you did, etc. It's best not to get into 3 ways (well.....)

But I probably wouldn't do that cause i am a chicken. Just one of many options. Also - when karmas clash I try to meditate and repeat "may we walk skillfully through our karma" and ask that WE (all parties) be given intuitve knowledge of how to do this from the buddha nature.

Love you! AHHHHHRG

I had thought of giving her a call and asking if she said it ananda...haven't decided if it will be worth the trouble yet. I'm definitely not too chicken to do it and in another point in my life I would've done it already lol. I may just store the question away and ask her next time I see her in person. Thanks for the meditating suggestion. I tried this morning but just kept coming back to the resentment.

Hi Tanya ! Tell grandad Happy Birthday from me. 90 is pretty cool. 10 more years and he gets on Willard Scotts Smuckers jar!

Gyp........I don't really know what to tell you about your husband. I would think that whatever is going on has to do more with him than it does with you. Most things are fear driven. Fear of money loss? Fear of you being hurt in an accident?

yeah - i forgot about the fear thing - people tend to strike out when they are afraid for us.

You guys - my neibor is refusing to remove the tree and branches that are falling on MY back exit to the alley. The city is involved at this point and say it is his job to clean up. But he is dragging his feet and I live with the concequences. would cost 500-1000$ to get it done. Today I had to walk around the block to take out my 4 bags of trash cause you can't get through the back gate due to the tree "limb" (its huge) that fell last storm.

OK - I should be on the winners!!!

Personally I have a feeling he's starting something because I start my yoga course this evening.

I know he doesn't want to have to pay for a ticket, everything is always about money to him. And control. I doubt he cares if I get into a accident... unless it causes damage to the van that he has to pay for and even if my life were hanging by a thread his concern would be how much the hospital bill would be (*note to self: speak to an attorney about stripping his rights to decide about pulling the plug) or paying for child care.

Thank you for your suggestions K. They are both being taken under consideration .

I guess you could call the appropriate department and tell them he's not complying?

While you're waiting for relief... you could use the inconvenience as an opportunity to get a little exercise .

Geez, what I am missing!

No cell phone. Over 1,000 trees. All it cost me to remove one is gas for my chainsaw. I have to take my garbage 4 miles to dump.
