Thanks Guys! - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Just over 3 years ago I was a depressed, overweight, mother of 4, alcoholic.

Yesterday I ran my first road race in 25 years--a half marathon--and was very pleased with my time and felt great!

Today I am a sober, mother of 4 (still overweight) very happy 51 year old.

I give this board a tremendous amount of credit for helping. I'm not much of an active participant but I do read it almost everyday, even if only for 5-10 minutes.
I'm not an AA'er so your help, that of my psychiatrist and Lexapro (YES!) have made me so, so greatful for everything I have.
