Are there any chat rooms for alcoholics? I'm just facing up to a three bottle of wine a day habit and an clueless.

Right now, there's no planned meetings. But, if you post that you want to go on, someone is usually available to join you.
Just go to the blue bar, on the top of the forum. You will see many link choices, and "chat" is one of them. You must register first. Please be sure to use the same username and password you used when you joined SR.

Chat rooms have been down for quite some time and from what I hear they are not going to fix them. I know that I have got a chat room and usually you can get them for free it isn't that hard to get them going really.

This place is excellent for sharing...I call it my 24/7 Meeting. You'll find people here in various stages of recovery...all willing to "listen" and share. Keep posting/reading here. It's as good as any chat room I know of.
