I didn't need to do much to repattern my life - I'm a single dad of a 7 yr old and tended to do most of drinking alone as opposed to bars - wasn't always that way but the ultimate progression was to drink alone. This is my second time around, and honestly accepted and surrendered this time. The nice thing about it is that today I know who I am, and am very comfortable in my own skin. It's so much easier knowing what I am capable of, and accepting life on lifes terms....do the footwork, and leave the bigger picture up to the big guy.

Welcome, Ken! I'm a single father with a 9 & 11 year old. This is my 22nd month of sobriety. It's always encouraging to see another clean & sober parent.
