| anxiety tip
I have dealt with anxiety issues for a very long time and the one advice which helped me the most is when your feeling anxious, accept it instead of trying to fight it. It you try to fight an emotion and deny it, it will build. So when I do feel anxious I just say to myself. It is o.k. to feel anxious, I am fine, I am safe, breathe slowly and accept it. This usually works with some practice. So just accept it instead of trying to fight it. I just wanted to share. Joanne |

that sounds like realy good advice...to accept your emotions..thats what ive gotta learn to do..accept my emotions and not take a pill to numb them..it is so hard however when those around you are doing things that make me so angry..i figured out i think ive been dealing with those around me giving me anxiety by taking benzo's for years.

Accepting the emotions, learn from them and not allow them to control my thoughts, attitudes and actions. IMO they don't disappear when ignored, but tend to get out of control when they do surface. The daily inventory is helpful here.
