Notes from 60 - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Well today is my official 60 days. I'm going back to work after 6 days off and am not looking forward to it.

I don't miss alcohol. I still have a thought but I don't miss it. Have had some huge stressful moments in the last two months and what entered my head was nothing would have been better drinking.

My friends and family have been amazing through this as well as my doctor and therapist.

I had an ugly moment last Thursday with the ex who got plastered and went into a rage. I've seen him do this in the past but I was drinking. This time I was sober. I realized yesterday that it wouldn't have happened if he hadn't drank. So the attempt at friendship is now over.

It's going to be beautiful day and traffic will be hell so I need to go.

I'd like to thank all of those really cool and wonderful people who have been posting on this site. I'm gleaming info everytime I'm on here.
