24 Hour Recovery Connection Part 281
Checking in for the next 24 hrs!
Am feeling much better compared to initial withdrawals but that's a double edged sword as the cravings are kicking in big time now that I'm feeling more human.
I needed to do a food shop and did it online so I'm not walking down those aisles.
Goodnight everyone X

Well done on 8 weeks Pebbles!! Absolutely fantastic xxx
Weev, that's so funny about your dog! Every morning my dog sits on the floor by my side of the bed, puts his head as close as possible to my sleeping face and then stares. I don't know how long he does this for but every morning when I open my eyes, all I see are these massive brown eyes invading my personal space. He's done it for ages and I should be used to it but every morning when I open my eyes, the first thing I say is, "aagghhhh!!". Then my husband sits up and says "what?!!" And I say, "it's ok. Just the dog freaking me out with his eyes". Then the dog continues to stare until I get up and get his breakfast. Every single morning this happens. It's like Groundhog day in our house.
One day I'm going to get up really early and stare at the sleeping dog. Freak him out. Payback.
Well done on 101 days Weev and congrats too to you FoleyUk. Congrats to everyone committing to another day.
24 more hours please xxx

I bet he'll wake right up, wag his tail and think "Oh boy, oh boy, breakfast!!!!!"
05:14 EDT and another 24 for me!
Checking in from vacay and can't believe I missed doing anything sobriety related fir my 3 month soberversary 😡
But yes it passed and no I did not drink 😇
And in a surf town where there isn't much else to do, that is almost as much of a miracle as making 92 days 🤣
Happily awaiting my chip celebration at AA next week. Stay strong all 😎
