Just got back from Seattle Sounders soccer v. Salt Lake. We won, 1-0.
They were playing Soundgarden over the pa system.

Happy Monday everyone. Things in my world are going pretty well. Weekend was very mellow, cravings-wise, except for one hella realistic drinking dream. I was so happy when I woke up and realized it was just a dream.

Awesome OOTT, keep training

Glad to hear things are going well BetterIsBetter.

I'm feeling more and more comfortable with sobriety and have been shutting down my AV pretty quickly when it chimes in. I realize that sobriety is a gift and we cannot get complacent.

Hi everyone. Drinking dreams are exhausting, aren't they BisB? To wake up feeling relief about not drinking is a great feeling and clear we are on the right the track.

Sobriety is certainly a gift, one we are working hard to keep. Complacency is my biggest fear too. I don't want to jinx myself about how strong I feel (although I just did!) because I feel really good about my decision. My hubby is now totally on board and proud of me. Not as much as I am proud of myself. I think that is the greatest benefit thus far. Having respect for myself.

Have great day everyone.

Greetings to the remaining Marchers, doesn't seem to be a lot of us here. Rode 17 miles to the beach today, the wind going southeast was brutal. I've been pretty active and hope to eventually get down to about 170 pounds (at 196 now and started at 223). Gonna juice for a week soon. Making the recipes is a PITA, but I'm looking forward to it.

Another sober weekend is almost here, enjoy!!

Glad to hear it JCNY. I'm checking in on Day 80. Feeling good.

I've dropped around 15 pounds just by not being perpetually bloated from daily beer drinking. I need to work exercise in to my days much better than I currently am. You're motivating me!

Congratulations on 80 days, BiB. That's amazing. Yeah, the weight loss is a huge motivator too. I'm still not telling people how I have lost so much weight in a short time. I'm sure it's partly due to being on my feet all day, but to tell people it's because I've stopped drinking, confirms how much I did consume.

I went for a 20km (about 12 miles) bike ride yesterday with the hubby. By no means, was it up to your levels, JCNY and Tiles. I was in jeans and t-shirt, no Lycra touching this body, but still it was fun and great to enjoy a day off together. Not waiting for the day to "start" when I can begin drinking.

How life has changed! Have a great day everyone. 😊

BIB, that's excellent! You as well Sandy, as you said life as truly changed for the better I'm only starting to get in shape, so bicyclists like Tiles and the Lance Armstrong types are always whizzing by me.

I just picked up a few things at the supermarket and as I was leaving I passed the liquor store that's in the shopping center. I used to park close to the booze store, put my bottle(s) in the car and then walk to the supermarket. No more of that, had a nice feeling of freedom. Also, my grocery purchases are a lot healthier.

I used to do the same thing! Liquor store first, bottles in the car, then back the grocery store. Pathetic.

readings good - but it's not *quite* action

be sure you go beyond the reading stage and into putting some of the ideas you read about into practice nia
