Hi all, thanks for all the love and good wishes for my health.

Things are moving in the right direction. I am freed from my drains and took my last antibiotics this morning. I am feeling 80%! There are some more hurdles, but here's hoping no more attacks.

Arbor, where are you moving to? It is exciting that your house has had so much activity so soon. My friend in CT had hers on the market for a very long time. But, she could be in a different part of the state. She just closed about a week ago! Good luck!

Suze, I am so happy for you, you sound so upbeat!

I'm still not quite up to walking Huxley because he can decide to chase something and pulls too hard, then. It is hard to manage him when I am in top form when he does that. He needs more consistent leash training with the whole family, because it is a matter of consistency. Anyway, he si crying his heart out right now, because he has a bff, a puppy named Sophie. Ever since they have become friends, he cries to go out looking for her. He plays so nicely with her!

Having no choice but to be sober right now is forcing me to do the work of sitting with my feelings, something I had been putting off the past few months. I realize that when I get bored, or agitated with the kids, or stressed, I crave checking out a bit with the wine. Funny how when you really have no choice, it is not nearly as hard as it seems when we are trapped in the cycle of using alcohol. I am not so powerless after all.

So nice to receive a follow-up, phoebe

Great to hear that you are drain-free and well on your way to a full recovery.

Will prayer for no episodes or flare-ups.

Sobriety is so very liberating and, yet, so very empowering, too.

Very cool how that works

Hi phoebes and Leigh. s

Very glad to hear you are getting better phoebe....I can imagine how scary this must have been.

All stress was always a trigger for me with regards to drinking...I think it's that way for many people. Normies or alcoholics. It's just that 'normal' people can have that glass of wine and stop. I could never do this. So of course everything was always made far worse.

Stick close love ~ we missed you a great deal.
Hoping your kids can walk Huxley and let you rest and heal.
