Deliliah, that is so exciting! Enjoy your time off and I can't wait to hear how you like the new role!
Hi Bandi, how are things?
Hi Dee!!
Sandy- CONGRATULATIONS ON 90 DAYS!!! I am so proud of you!!
Anyone hear from Thump? I am worried about him
I am doing well over here - 45 days since my last drink and I continue to move forward. My AV has been chirping like an annoying morning bird lately but I am doing my best to shut it down. It's much easier than it's ever been to remind myself that I will never drink again. Sure, I miss it but I don't miss the repercussions which are inevitable.
Home life is good and the new house is coming together nicely. I'm grateful to be staying home with our toddler even though the budget is super tight. We joined the pool and that keeps us busy. Hubby and I are okay- not spectacular but in a much better place than we were last year which is good. He is still mean to me most days but he's working on his attitude. I have to decide how long I will stick around while he "fixes himself". We all have work to do on ourselves, that's for sure. I also need to be a better person. I just wish I liked/loved him at this point. I'm just going through the motions and he's basically a roommate but I don't want to put the energy into fixing things. Ugh. Not sure what this means but I'm just going to give it more time I guess. Sorry for the rant.
Much love to my Jannies!
Going to look into a meeting- I think doing the steps would be something I would benefit from...

Thanks for the heartfelt post, Sunny and congratulations on your sober time. I'm glad to hear things are getting better for you. Personally I think giving it more time is a good idea at this stage. We make much better decisions being sober. You still have your tricky four month period to pass which I know had been a struggle for you in the past. Keep strong and keep focused on you! We can see things in a better perspective day by day. Thinking of you friend.
Take care everyone! Have a great day 😊

Love checking in to see posts from several people! Sandy, 90 days is fantastic, things started falling into place for me this time a the 90 day mark, so glad you are doing well.
Sunny, 45 days is great, and you've had so many changes, and you're handling them beautifully! I also think you are smart to wait before making any decisions.
I went to a Women in Leadership Conference this evening, and it was wk derful being surrounded by amazing female leaders. I am looking forward to day two tomorrow!

Hello Jannies & Dee
Hi Sandy and Sunny! Congrats to both of you on your sober time and I agree 100% with Delilah and Sandy about your home situation Sunny. Give it more time and focus on YOU right now. From personal experience I know that's easier said than done but by focusing on YOU, it's less likely that your hubby's actions will trigger you in any way. I visit the Friends & Family forum and always learn something from the wise posters on that thread. Maybe check it out? If nothing else, you will feel less alone with your relationship issues.
I pray Thump is just busy and is working his recovery program outside of SR. Also thinking of others we haven't heard from in a while.
Glad you're enjoying your leadership conference Delilah!
I'm off to bed early tonight as we've been in the sun and water all day. Love this 'good' kind of tired. Night all.....

Hi Jannies,
Bandi, sounds like a busy, but fun day!!
Sunny and Sandy, hope the weekend has been a good one so far.
Dee, as always, thanks for being you!!!
Today was another great day of learning for me. I am inspired by the amazing leaders I had the opportunity to learn alongside this weekend, and look forward to continuing to network with them.
Still hoping Thump will check in with us soon.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads on our January thread.
❤️Delilah
