Class of March 2016 part 42
Helloooooo! Getting ready to go to work..........I like to get there in time for some startin' fluid ~ but I also don't want to show up too early, or they might expect that from me all the time! Nope! So I thought I'd check in here first. I can't thank you all enough for being here!
Morning! (said quietly so I don't annoy PJs headache) Headches are the worst...few better soon!!
Hi Purplrk - enjoy the startin' fluid....I'd say enjoy work but....
We are expecting rain all day...meh. Grey skies, no sun in sight....so sleepy....

Good mornin' Marchers. Welcome back LillianGish!
I'm havin' startin' fluid too Purp. A mornin' ritual for me!
Sorry about your headache PJ. Hang in there. It'll go away soon enough.
Mornin' Sam. Grey skies are soooo gloomy. Hope you have a nice day anyway!

LillianGish, I managed to miss the rain - got in to SD on Sunday and left on Monday - typical business trip, all work - no play.
It sounds like you've had an interesting adventure, and now you know how that particular one ends up (same way it always does). Stick around - we need you!!
PJ, hope the headache gets better.
I've got my startin' fluid and a bowl of oatmeal - Have a great day everyone!

Morning Marchers. Didn't sleep so great last night so I'll be needing some startin' fluid to get going at work. May be a long day.
PJ - hope that darned headache goes away. Rotten things.
Lillian - Did I mention it's SO good to see you back?!?
Sam - Rainy here too. And ew, bedbugs....
Have a good day fellow Misfits!

Good morning everyone! So nice to wake up without a hangover today! My AV was really trying to pull me down yesterday but I fought back and after I beat it I felt really good. I'm building my sober muscles! I will try to just IGNORE it next time. That's a good idea....thanks Dee.
Lillian....welcome back! Great to see you. I missed you!
Have a great day everyone. My husband is home sick from work. He's only missed 1-2 days of work in the 24 years I have known him so he must be pretty sick! He has a pretty high fever. Poor guy. Glad I can be here for him.
Day 11. I promise I won't drink today! Love you all!!!

Ha! Yes, what he said.
<<<says quietly>>> hope your head feels better soon PJ.
MITA ~ quick trips are the best! Glad you missed the bad weather.
CH ~ thank you, it is SO good to be back here. I feel so much better since yesterday when I logged on.
Read many posts last night and you guys sound wonderful and on such a good path. Congratulations to you all!
I'm off to work too and checking in....starting fluid intake begun. I can't use my laptop at work for personal stuff, and the mobile device access here makes my eyes hurt. So, I'll "see" you guys tonight.
Avagooday Everyone!

Morning!!
Welcome back, Lillian! We missed you!. A few of us have been struggling .... you're never alone
Kiki, hope your husband feels better soon. My AV was really giving me a hard time yesterday, too. So glad I didn't listen to it. I would have just hated myself this morning. Have to hang on to this feeling! It's never worth it, is it?
My daughter seems to be over the stomach bug and went to school today. I was going to keep her home just to give her one more day to rest, but she really wanted to go so off she went.
Day 13 and I won't drink today. Hope everyone has a peaceful Monday!

MITA - go be awesome!
Upstairs - hope you have a great day.
CH - wishing you an event free, peaceful day.
Kiki - way to one-up your AV. Go be nurse kiki now. (sounds like a porn title)

Silly interfanglednet- just caught the other posts.
LG- good to virtually see you. Is it not interesting how we say (there you go) that for internet. I actually do not see you or hear you- I read your words. I suppose it sounds more personal to say good to hear from you instead of good to read you. Slily comment.
KK- hope your hubby is okay. Chicken soup- that is it, lots of chicken soup.
Had shower thinking it would ease the stupid head stupid ache. Nope- I am being punished for something I have not done yet- or have not thought of and thus will not do.(feeble haha)..
Greys anat on TV. Used to be the ex's fav. Was tempted to switch it off 'cos of sharing laughter. Nope- another lesson to learn. Only grow outside my comfort zone.
It is the Festival fringe here. The Adelaide Festival of Arts is a high arty thing the attracts people globally. Then in March there is Womad- a 3 day multicultural music thing, plus the Clipsal- a religiously (to some) followed car race- that uses Adelaide city streets for the circuit. Was once for the Grand Prix, but Melbourne offered a better deal- so the Clipsal was it's replacement- a long time ago. Usually called 'mad March'. All the hotels are usually booked out. My little man space is smack dab in the middle of all this. So lots of fireworks, noisy patrons staggering around the place being 'arty'. They seem to think shouting a lot makes a difference. Another thing I do not do (alone admittedly, mem's) because alcomoholic fluids usually graces the brains of these persons.
Donating blood again today.

Thought for the Day
I go to the A.A. meetings because it helps me in my business of keeping sober. And I try to help other alcoholics when I can, because that's part of my business of keeping sober. I also have a partner in this business and that's God. I pray to Him every day to help me to keep sober. As long as I keep in mind that liquor can never be my friend again, but is now my deadly enemy, and as long as I remember that my main business is keeping sober and that it's the most important thing in my life, I believe I'll be prepared for that crucial moment when the idea of having a drink pops into my mind. When that idea comes, will I be able to resist it and not take that drink?
Meditation for the Day
I will be more afraid of spirit unrest, of soul disturbance, of any ruffling of the mind, than of earthquake or fire. When I feel the calm of my spirit has been broken by emotional upset, then I must steal away alone with God, until my heart sings and all is strong and calm again. Uncalm times are the only times when evil can find an entrance. I will be ware of unguarded spots of unrest. I will try to keep calm, no matter what turmoil surrounds me.
Prayer for the Day
I pray that no emotional upsets will hinder God's power in my life. I pray that I may keep a calm spirit and a steady heart.

Good morning everyone. I'm laying in bed with my wee one while he watches cartoons. I love lazy mornings. My hubby left for another 4 weeks yesterday. My AV popped up but even being buzzed didn't sound appealing to me so she slithered away. Hopefully she's loosing her power!
