Having endured and recovered from a total knee replacement 5 years ago, I am now in the seventh day post surgery from my other knee replacement. The parallels between the first weeks/months of sobriety and recovery from TKR are striking. A surprising amount of pain has to be endured early on but the changes that are coming are worth it. If only I had two chances to get sobriety "repaired"!
I may miss a check in now and again but I will be doing my 24 hours at a time.

We have Ofsted in today which is a huge and stressful Government inspection of our school. They are painstakingly thorough and will look at everything we do in detail. It can make or break a Head teachers career (or a deputy like me).

I've prayed for the right result.

All I can do is my best I guess.
