Well I don't eat this way too often, but once a week or so.....watch out here it comes! Plus I was at the gym for a good while today.

I haven't tried this specific recipe before, but if you google 'roasted pears with maple syrup caramel-always eat dessert' you can pass along to Nick. Smells pretty good in here I gotta say.

Little one and I really enjoyed that! I'm having a bit of a sugar rush so I went outside to enjoy the clear night sky and wondered what that brightest 'star' in the southwest is. I grabbed the iPad and used the SkyView app and guess what.....it's Venus. Shoulda known!

Edit to say that since you're passing things along to Goat, a simple phrase I've found very useful over the years is 'yes dear'. Doesn't always mean I agree, but useful nonetheless.

I'm pretty lucky (well, very, in all sorts of ways) but Nick is not the 'yes dear' type of guy....he actually cares about everything I say. Of course, give him a few years and we will see.

Gosh, I thought we had plenty of house guests. Leigh, y'all take the prize! I enjoy having house guests though.....most of the time anyway.

It's been a long work day and then a long twilight run on this rather balmy day. So now I'll admit that I'm already propped up on pillows reading in bed for a few minutes and then lights out for this pooped puppy.

I hope the week is treating everyone well.
