Doing well here, settling into life with two kiddos. Been quite the adjustment but now that Bryce is 3 months old and out of the "4th trimester" things are getting easier. Looking forward to a time when they can entertain each other and Mama can get a break! Xo, M

Oh boy, way too much to tell you re the move.
I will need to come back when I have a bit more time.
Suffice to say that I came, I went back to Melbourne again, changed visas and am now really 'here'. Nick and I went through a rather huge adjustment process that we both somehow survived....love and commitment won out....and now we are just getting into the flow and starting our life together.
We did manage to completely furnish and put together our apartment and it is absolutely gorgeous. We are kind of proud of ourselves.
Glad that you are doing so well love, and of course I (we) need more pictures of your beautiful boys. So much love to you. ♥

Many belated congrats to everyone!
Wehav - Congrats on your 4th year sober & staying married I imagine it's been akin to discovering a whole new relationship, but better b/c it builds off the depth of the original. Going through the transition and coming out the other side sounds like something dear and special unique to you, and a wonderfully intimate experience to share.
Mel - The kids are adorable. Congrats on your 4th year anniversary too! (Coming up on 4.5 soon
My roommate has a 2.5 and 5 month old at the moment, and I am just getting a small snapshot of what it is like to have 2 little ones since I got home last week from the latest trip. WOW, YOU ARE AMAZING for what you do EVERY DAY!!!!
Dee - Hello again. I haven't been on the rest of the site to hear your updates and know what is going on with you, and I'm thrilled as always that you are here each and every day supporting hundreds on our journeys to health and happiness!
Venus - Congrats on moving to the US and getting settled in with Nick!!!! I'm excited for both of you and I imagine it will be quite an adjustment. My brief text exchange with Nick left me quite impressed. Happy that you found a good person deserving of your awesomeness
Me - I apologies for dropping into the black hole there. I went to 4 countries this spring that were fascinating but with very very very poor internet, hence my absence. I finally reached the point where I felt "done" with traveling, and cut my trip to Cuba short by 9 days to come home to my wonderful guy. I'm less scared about integrating into my life this time, and actually looking forward to it! So it feels right. First things first - cleaning out my closet. After living just fine with 30lbs of items, I've realized the joy of minimal owning and I simply own too much stuff. It's literally overwhelming to have more than a weeks' worth of clothes, so purge purge purge here I come! I started this the last time I came home when my partner and I moved in together, but as my partner is a self described horder, more of my energy went into sorting through 'we things' and with that under control, I am free this time to focus on 'me' things.

Hey everyone - just swung by to check in. Hope you all are doing well! I'm still cleaning out the closet and sorting through all my personal items. My goal this week is to get all the wedding invites out. The big day is Sept 24
Mel - of all the places I went last year, I think Amalfi is my top pick for a honeymoon. You did it right! We are going to skip the honeymoon since we are just getting settled after so much traveling and just do a minimoon in monteray a few hours south of SF.
V - Have you been able to enjoy the fireflies? It's one of my favorite things about July in OH.

A sober baby! You migh have to let out that wedding dress a little bit...
I love the fireflies here! I grew up in California, so they were a nice surprise in what was otherwise a bit of a tough adjustment.
Haven't been saying much on sr, not much to report. I like to joke that I've worked my ass off to get this boring. Marriage good, job good, house good, bills paid, health good... boooooring.

YAY! Congrats serene! That's so exciting. When are you due? Life with two is hectic for sure but it's been fun, it will be good to have your roommate to give you advice, let me know if you need any ideas on baby stuff.
