Clearly - I'm watching too! Although got interrupted by the littlest. Darn it!
I can watch on Hulu tomorrow but since I'm tying to rest my back I was just watching live. Ah well. For now, I rock rock rock. Sweet little sleepyhead.
I guess I will see what the pediatrician says about her sleep habits at her 18 mo well check up tomorrow.

Meeting was good ~ I was the only one who didn't share, but I felt the need to get out for a while instead of isolating myself all night......something different, right?!?!?

Well haven't shaken the blah's yet. Woke up with the same headache and the same dullness.
The quote on my sobriety tracker today said "the man who persists in knocking, will succeed on entering". Words to live by.

Checking in with coffee, hoping for a smooth work day. Anxiety seems to be lingering; weird - the smallest things will trigger it about stupid crap from my past....guess I should work more on the neuroplasticity exercises so my brain will go in a better direction Thanks so much everyone - so grateful to be part of such an awesome group!

Good morning!
My husband is coming home tonight from a business trip. In the past I would have started getting anxious. Is he going to ask me about drinking while he was gone? Did I get rid of my empties? Is my stash hidden well enough? Now, I just get to be happy he's coming home. What a change.

Purple - hope the anxiety lifts. Nothing you can change about the past. Just keep putting your best foot forward.
About to break for lunch so thought I should check in. A friend posted a bible quote on FB today. Not really into that stuff, but it spoke to me. I needed to see it. And feel much better today after reading it
Day 17: money saved, $115; drinks not consumed, 231; calories saved, 23,000!!! That's insane to look at!! Goes to show you how we shut down our awareness in active addiction. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...just keep drinking" <---- my AV

On my way home. Really want to stop for a drink. This is the first time in quite a while that I have had this feeling. Instead I am posting here and reminding myself what tomorrow would look like...because one would turn into many... So no stopping.....at least for today.

One day at a time, Sam. You're right. One would turn into many more. Proud of you for checking in when you're feeling vulerable. can you think of some things you can do/tools you can use to help get you through this?

Nice work playing the tape through, Sam! I started getting the same feeling after work today too.....maybe we all could use a homework assignment

Well I made it home safe and sound. Charlie is walked, the house is tidy and now I just need to wait for DH to get home. The craving has mostly passed...I don't even know that it was a craving really...more of a reaction to my feelings. Hmmm....
