Velvet Revolver
This may be more bittersweet than "feel good" but I still love these guys. Here's a live cover of "Wish you were here"

Blue Cross
Here's another one from the ABR Band album.....I love how it blends into sounds of a drum circle at the end. AV tried to sneak in and suggest I go to the pub & find this on the juke box.....but I'm gonna stay here and torture you guys instead!

Familiarity breeds comfort and comfort feels alright I guess.
A sad factor widely known
The most impassionate song
To a lonely soul
Is so easily outgrown
But don't forget the songs
That made you smile
And the songs that made you cry
When you lay in awe
On the bedroom floor
And said: "Oh, smother me, Mother..."
La la, love me, love me, love me, love me
La la, love me, love me, love me
La la, love me, love me, love me
The passing of time
And of all its crimes
Is making me sad again
The passing of time
And all of its sickening crimes
Is making me sad again
But don't forget the songs
That made you cry
And the songs that saved your life
Yes, you're older now
And you're a clever swine
But they were the only ones who ever stood by you
The passing of time leaves empty lives
Waiting to be filled
The passing of time
Leaves empty lives
Waiting to be filled
I'm here with the cause
I'm holding the torch
In the corner of your room
Can you hear me?
And when you're dancing and laughing
And finally living
Hear my voice in your head
And think of me kindly
La la, love me, love me, love me, love me
La la, love me, love me, love me
La la, love me, love me, love me
Do you
Love me like you used to?
(samples)
You're clever
Everybody's clever nowadays
You're clever
Everybody's clever nowadays
You are sleeping, you do not want to believe
You are sleeping, you do not want to believe
You are sleeping, you do not want to believe
You are sleeping...

LOVE the BeeGees! I love most of the stuff they did before Saturday Night Fever. They are one of my favorite groups ever. This is a very favorite of mine, starring Robin. (I love how he cupped his ear so he could hear himself.)

This album was released today. Steve Wilson, the genius behind Porcupine Tree (I'm sure that clears things up). The album is called To The Bone, and this is the title song.

My favorite song ever, Radiohead's Pyramid Song, from Amnesiac. Maybe not "feel good music."

"My Light" by Sully Erna
Not sure how to post this; I hope I'm doing it right! This has become one of my favorite songs ~ it reminds me of our SR family

Austin TX is coming up on 8 inches of rain from Hurricane Harvey in just a day, so Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Couldn't Stand The Weather" seems entirely appropriate. Stay safe, dry.

Now he's done it. I'm in a Stevie Ray frame of mind. Best guitarist ever
after Terry Kath.

Notice the smoothest guitar switch in history.
