No, Trach.

Dinner #1 was more eggs & cheese; peach Greek yogurt; chai.

You are going to be very tired of eggs when this is over.

Still completely numb on the right side of my lip and chin. 100% numb.

Very slowly regaining feeling on the left side.

I took the turmeric today. The other supplements arrive Monday or Tuesday.

I'm tired of ice-cream. Isn't that odd? Not tired of the eggs! What I'm craving is a huge plate of sushi.

Jennie, I hope the turmeric and the supplements you ordered start to help with the numbness and the remaining swelling.

Thanks for thinking of me, Leigh.

Yeah, I really hope so too, Anna. I took turmeric yesterday and today. I have a tiny bit more feeling in the left side of my lower lip. Could be coincidence. But I'd rather take the supplements and hope.

That's good news....and as we well know, a positive attitude helps a great deal.

One thing about this... Age, gender, type of surgery, and the distance the jaw is extended all matter. Let's just say I'm kind of on the periphery of the good case scenarios. But I do have my health going for me, and a strong determination to succeed.

Ideal age for this surgery is 20-30.

Was reading the ads in the back of my NYRB and came across an ad for some sort of Danish book bag messenger bag made from waterproof canvas, with lots of pockets. Googled and read some stories about it. Now I'm obsessed, lol. Might have to get one.

I had to look. I LOVE those kinds of bags.
Of course I have little hope of finding the one you mentioned.

Now I want one too...I used to have a gorgeous black leather satchel; no idea what happened to it.

I don't think that's even close to the one J found...but I may be in love.

EDIT...or maybe not, it's a Tram 21 bag and the price is $322.27 AUD
