My favorite trip ever was a week in Bimini (ya think?) with an adventure company who takes humans to meet up with wild dolphins who - for no reason other than friendship and curiosity and maybe outreach - come and swim with humans daily. Way off shore in the shallows bordering the Gulf stream. It is the most amazing thing. No food or enticements are used - just connection.

I wear a small dolphin around my neck. It was amazing.

(this is not me, but ...still)
