I would def meet up with you given the chance Gilmer!! As for returning to the USA, well as far as we know it is still on and for the end of the year, but hubby has just been asked to apply for another post with a different company wich would totally nix us coming back across. So we need to sit and do some thinking over the weekend, possibly a swat analysis see which way he wants to go. It's difficult for me, because I always want whatever is best for him as he is the one always away from home and bringing in the vast majority of the wage, so whatever is best for him in the long term is the way we will go. We should know soon. Even if he does decide to stay with the company, the USA job may not materialise. I am living in abeyance, nothing needs to be worried about so I don't worry!

Hey, I know the troubles. My tinnitus progresses and sometimes affects my hearing. If the alternative to getting older were any better, I'd take it.

Yep, in less than 24 hours, I'll be mrs. Wehav, lol! I hope folks have fun!
Yesterday was license day. It was kind of tough. J is having a hard time with having no family here to see her get married. Getting our marriage license was a bit crazy because I didn't realize that there are three courthouses in San Diego. So we walked all over downtown getting to the right one. Thankfully, we found it in time for appointment. Then a bunch of birds crapped on us. I told j it was a blessing, she wasn't amused. Then we got there and I realized I had my pocketknife in my backpack. So in honesty, I held it out for the sheriff expecting it to get confiscated. Thankfully, she took pity on me and hinted I should hide it outside, which I did. Then we messed up filling out the form. They came back to us like a failed exam, lol. We fixed it and were on our way!
Today was totally different. Started off at the salon getting our nails did. It was a party!!! The ladies knew we were in town for a wedding. Finally admitted it was our wedding. They were awesome! The owner busted out Brie and crackers, another customer came in and we all chatted, it was a blast! They even all blessed us.
Then we met with our pastor, who still is awesome. He's wonderful in person too!
Then we hiked Torrey pines, one of my and now our favorite spots on earth. And had good Mexican food. It was a very good day!!
Sooooo, now we get our "beauty rest" lol

We, I'm getting teary (in a good, happy way) hearing about your plans coming along and the wedding about to happen. Thank you for sharing some of the details! We'll be thinking of you and j today :-)

Gilmer, Gilmer, GILMER!! Sorry, had to shout there to get your attention! My hubby always accuses me of not hearing him when he mumbles and accuses me of mumbling when he's just not listening!! I quite like my MILs selective deafness; ask her a favour and she just ' turns a deafy' but offer her something in a whisper from 50 yards away and she'll hear it!! Lol
