I know I'll be hanging out on my deck next week - not sure about the tan just yet! It's still March in northern Wisconsin. Two years ago in late April I was wearing shorts and flip flops one day, and snow boots the next. Not an exaggeration.

Good morning peeps. Had one amazing flight home. Middle seat vacant, and I fell asleep only to wake up twice. Once for water and next for landing. Even had a stunning view of mt rainier thanks to the big bright moon. Incredible.
Oh my Midwesterners, there are buds on trees here, and colors besides white and gray. Wow. Thanks for all the support you guys, I've been having a tough time of it and would love to have thrown in the towel if I were on my own. Being home now things aren't magically better but at least I have my kitty here.
Wish you could get a little rest tonks, And a new car battery for free. And some tasty foods

Kitty- I thought I could just have one beer with my husband! Isn't that goofy? I should know better by now. One always turns into a messed up week. I need to remember that.

Welcome home biggy! I got some cool pictures of Mt Rainier from the space needle, it's really a majestic sight.
This older lady decided, in an mostly empty parking lot, to park so close to me i can't get out of my car. Like, there is literally 8 empty parking spaces on either side of me. I opened my window and asked if she was feeling ok, she just looked at me and walked off. Incredible.

My kids had a snow day today and it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. No snow or ice at all.. I love Texas

I think what I miss most about Texas wasn't the weather (too humid), it was Taco Cabana. Damn that was the best food at 3am.

Course party last night. I participated as sober dude number three
Tradition for people to celebrate after a bag drive course. Found it rather interesting to watch the progression of others from my perspective. Almost felt like an outider looking in. In all it seemed very pointless and a colossal waste of money. To top things off we had drill practise all day so those who got drunk had a rather rough day.
The thing that really piqued my interest were those who drank responsibly and left at a reasonable hour. I am now at the other extreme on the drinking spectrum having no time in the safe zone somewhere in the middle. I doubt I could be because one pint would taste like more... Guess I'm just really curious how they do it.
