Taking a bit of a break from buddhas, it’s the right time of year in temperate parts of the northern hemisphere to look for early spring flowers.
Galanthus, snowdrops, in Ayrshire, Scotland
If you can’t sleep, try counting the snowdrops that carpet a woodland meadow in winter. Be joyful in your day, and I’ll see you next go-around!

Here for 24 more.
Today is Cold Cut Day. The joy of a fine sliced meat sandwich is sublime. It may not be the best thing for you, but in moderation, it's ok. Here are some cold hard facts about cold cuts.
Cold cuts are sliced, precooked or cured meat, often sausages or meat loaves.
Usually they are served on sandwiches or a platter with cheese and crackers.
They are most commonly for sale vacuum-packed at the grocery store or sliced-to-order at the deli.
Most pre-sliced cold cuts are higher in fat, nitrates, and sodium than those that are sliced to order.
The CDC advises that those over 50 reheat cold cuts to “steaming hot” 165 °F (73.9 °C) and use them within four days.
I'm going to make a sandwich. Have a great day!
