24-hour Recovery Connections Part 42
Always love your avatar, FBL.
So much to do at the new house but we're iced in. Boo! Looks like it's a day of packing instead.
24 more, please with hugs all around.

It's a church thing but all denominations. There's 270 'groups' the UK, one in Manley, Aus some in Jamaica and recently they've started in California. Although it's 'faith based' it's not about preaching but about helping. If somebody asks a faith based question then we'd answer but anybody at all can have help/support. The police have said disorder on the nights we're out is at a markedly lower rate.
While it is voluntary it's very very rewarding (and 90% of revellers love us :-D )

Do you remember when Afghanistan was Buddhist? Beginning about 2,300 years ago, and lasting more than 1,000 years. Those were the days!
A bodhisattva. The Afghan Buddhists viewed them as divine. I think so, anyway -- Buddhist sects bicker among themselves tremendously about the divisions of sainthood and divinity and which levels of buddhahood are attainable to mortals.
I don’t aspire to buddhahood, but I’m happy to see this handsome guy! As I'm happy to see each of you, whenever you sign in here!

Thank you for the messages, gang. We are having a wonderful time. What more could a person want than to celebrate living and life with the people you love and who love you? My mom and I are going on a photo tour today of the island with a professional photographer. We are hoping to learn our cameras better, get that perfect shot and have a goofy time just being. I love my life. And you all are such a part of the support that makes it good.
I showed my mom this sight this morning. She WISHES my sister had something like this 25 years ago when alcohol finally killed her. We are soooo blessed to have each other and this 24/7 support. Know my mom is cheering and praying for all of us.
Aloha!!!

9.30am in the UK and up for another 24.
Got in at 3am having been walking round the town centre from 10.30pm to help anybody who needed it. One large group of ladies on a works night out were very merry- but not inebriated. One chap needed putting on his feet and pointing in the direction of home. And besides that all quiet. Boring for us as some nights it's nonstop 'action' with fights, blood and vomit but good to know the town is 'at peace'!

What a good thing you do, Esspee!!!!
