Congrats workforit!

Day 2 of vacation. My tummy ache from yesterday still here and seems to be viral. Body aches to go with it today. Kids driving me crazy, of course. Bickering. Cabin fever. I booked a couple of nights to get away later this week, place with some water fun. When they misbehave, I want ot take it away. But they are annoying because they are bored. Too cold to go outside. I had hoped ot get them out today, but not feeling well.

I'd like to join workforit's party, I also hit 100 days yesterday.

In some ways it has removed a lot of anxiety and pain from my life, but I'm still working on getting some of the issues that caused me to drink worked out. Without a doubt, life is better without the alcohol. Now time to get to the rest of the issues!

Thanks to everyone for the support!

Congratulations Alwayshope .

Sorry you're not feeling well Phoebe .

One more class for me today but it's not until 6pm. I think I'll take a nap at Barnes & Noble if I can snag one of those comfy chairs .

I hope you feel better soon Phoebe.

I was actually glad to help my husband shovel snow this morning. I needed the exercise.

Well, my tummy issues seem better today. Still aching in my back. Maybe just the weather or arthritic stuff? I had to get up early because I was uncomfortable in bed. Feeling looser now after moving around and some heat on it.

So, had an awful afternoon with my daughter. She flipped out because i was insisting she do a chore. Long story short, she raged all afternoon, then had a melt down, and calmed down, but my nerves were shot. I almost drank, but did not. drove there, and came home. No wine. So, I see it as a small victory. I have never come that close and decided not to drink. I am glad for it this morning.

Now, it is Lent, and I will not drink for Lent, so that pushes me past getting a solid month into getting a solid 6 weeks(well, plus the time I have now). On the other side of that time, hopefully the weather will be better and the winter blues will lift as well.

My son came home on Monday night. The details aren't important, just that he's home. My partner on the other hand was encouraging my son to contact his biological father for rides home from counseling which I felt was overstepping boundaries. There are so many things wrong with that...

Counseling soon lol.
