When The Going Gets Tough The Tough Go Camping

RV Mania!

Now, THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!

When our soon-to-be-listed City House sells in an uber-hot Market, I've got my Eye on this Trailer from 'Nash' linked below. I've got a lil 15' Trailer now; bought used for a Song WITH a free, unused 3,000 Watt 'Kipor' Generator thrown in. Well-insulated Nashes really are a cut above the rest, and I've done tons of my usual A-R Research. Warren Buffet owns the Company, and their Units excel, IMO. I give Electrical and related advice on a few Trailer Forums, and love getting out and 'Boondocking'. But, in Geezer Comfort. Da Wife and Pooch can have the big Bed up front. I'll be happy Snoring in the back one.

I've had the Campground 1 Hr 50 Mins from us seen below all to myself during off-peak times. The ~20 mile-long Blue Mesa Reservoir @ ~7,000'. Dark Skies to die for. Love it!

We've got a king size "camper bed" in our little Roadtrek. That thing is amazingly comfortable--far more comfortable than our regular house bed!

Helloooo everyone. Moved into my place. It is so nice having my own space.
Job is good and so busy. Had a mini-breakdown this weekend and almost bailed. On everything. I have this habit of running away from problems. But I didn't and here I am.
One really good thing: I live so close to my work that I can come home and cook a hot meal for lunch. That's awesome.

Hi Casinva.

Morning all

All this talk of trailers is making me long for the open road!

No Yorkshire puddings Mags, but I have them at home pretty regularly any way!

Woke to some unexpected snow today and the 4x4 is down with hubby, our drive is a sob to get out of in the Merc so I will use get the bus to work today and hope the snow clears pretty pronto. There isn't much of it, but our road is a dead end so we don't get gritted or plowed
No worries, let the bus do all the fuss!

Rusty that's a good idea but it would be a pretty small party. :/ Don't know anyone here, except for my coworkers and most of them live in the bigger town about an hour's drive away.
I did reach out to one woman I met and asked her for coffee, so that's a good thing.
I had to cut off all contact with my ex, (again) yesterday. It was hurting me too much. I am having trouble dealing with his new relationship and my new reduced status in his life. It sucks. So no more contacting because it always ended up in me being hurt.
So completely fresh start.
My grandparents used to take us kids on camping road trips in their various camper vans and RVs over the years. Such good memories! I remember lying in the upper bed part with my cousins looking out the window at the road ahead as we drove. Now I want one! Maybe that's what I need; I've been told I'm a free spirit/wandering homebody. And I'm pretty sure that road trips are my favourite thing to do.
It's so cold here. It was -12 yesterday which isn't TOO bad but then it was windy. BRRRRR.
Just living a quiet little life here.......

I had to cut off all contact with my ex again as well InPar. Just too painful. And I get too sad, and it is just not good for me. I hope it's OK to ask, but what about your dog?

As for the housewarming party...I think you may have a few Overs who would love to come.

We've missed you, too, SW! You have been very faithful to check in, even though you've been sick as a dog! I really hope it ends soon, for both you and Mrs. Wolf!

-15!
I was going to go for a run this morning. But....I'm scared.
We're trying to find a way to get my dog up here. It's expensive. It's good though because it really is so cold here walking him would be hard. And I kind of need this time to settle in and adjust on my own....oh who am I kidding I would love to have him here. But I have to wait till we can figure something out.
I met the mayor yesterday. :-/
