24-Hour Recovery Connections Part 25
HeartsAFire yippie on 100 days! V. Yippie too on ...28 days! When I close my eyes each night, I automatically now say thank you for another day clean n sober. Then I do my prayers. I'm not a Christian or belong to any set religion. Just want to give the credit where it is due ....for me that's some Higher Power. All I need to know. Thought I'd share that for the friends who think AA is about a religion. Might be for some folks. It Is what it IS for me.

This weekend was a strange mix of productivity and relaxation/recovery time. I knocked out a ton of around the house items I needed to finish but also spent a good chunk of time in bed with a book listening to the rain. Last night, I fell asleep before 9 which I almost never do (sober that is). It felt good to let my body actually start to build up some strength instead of just surviving the day on caffeine. All that said, I'm ready for another 24 hours at 10:08 PM in Indiana. I'm off tomorrow so it's time for an oil change for the Mazda and I have a toilet that needs repaired. I hope everyone had a good weekend!
I had an awesome day at work today!
I'll be sober again tomorrow, and that will go a long way towards making that day awesome too.

Well I have Simon and Garfunkel in my head tonight, and just your luck I like to share.
