Alynn, the class threads are great. You got sober during a certain month, say August, 2014. You then start reading in posting in the "Class of August 2014" thread. Soon you'll get to know and love the cast of characters there, and they'll come to love you.

If you've been sober longer than that, sometimes you'll find that threads "dry up." In that case, visit the "One Year and Under" or "One Year and Over" class. I can vouch for the One Year and Under thread; it is very lively and supportive, and is always welcoming to new folks.
