I had one of those day where I started moving at 5:00 a.m. and feel like I just had a chance to sit down. Nothing bad...just busy.

Welcome back, Dee and hello to everyone. Long weekends can be a mixed blessing but I am hoping for extra rest.

The bald eagle. Seen frequently along the Hudson River where it fishes. A huge, muscular, important bird. Sacred to many Native American tribes, and the national bird of the United States. I’m tired tonight but I will borrow some strength from this magnificent work of nature.

Don’t quit ‘til you’ve seen every kind of bird!
