Today, at my sunday meeting the topic was 'the seriousness of alcoholism', which was really the right thing for me to hear: I tend to forget (that's not a joke), that I was close to death many times due to necr. acute pancreatitis, horrible selfmutilation, DT's, alcoholic fits, DUI etc etc etc... I am extremely lucky I am alive today and even more lucky to have no more cravings for alc, benzo's and cocain ....
So I am glad to sign in here for another 24 sober and clean hours.
Noce sunday to you all
PS Thank's for your honest share Deek

Back in Ohio. While it's the same, it's all different too. You can't go "home" again.
I do not miss this snow and cold, but will stay as long as needed. So sign me up for another 24.
God's blessings to all.
Thanks for the honesty check Deek.

Good morning everyone. Signing in for 24 more 9:00am on Sunday.
Slept in this morning and thought how nice it was to do that just because I wanted to not because I couldn't drag myself out of bed. Then I noticed I have my pajama top on inside out and it was a good feeling to know it was because I'm absent minded, not because I put my pajamas on in a drunken stupor and have to wonder oh boy what else did I do?!? Sometimes even the little things are a reminder to me how good sobriety feels.
