Day 11. Slept pretty good so I hope I the fatigue I've been having the past few days will improve. Have acupuncture after work. A bit worried about Saturday but I've planned some around cravings so I tell myself I can resist.

Three weeks behind me, and sliding into my fourth sober weekend. When I started this journey, all I could think about was how *bad* it would be to give up alcohol. Now I realize how much I was missing in life and look forward to each new sober day.

Thanks Dee. It's great we are on Part 3-shows how committed everyone is!

I'm on day 25 now and and even starting to lose track of the days. It seems normal now to not drink. Every time I've given up before I know it was only temporary to 'prove' to myself that I didn't have a problem. Now I am committed to not drinking ever I feel so much better. Even though it is the weekend soon I'm not thinking of drinking

I also want to take this opportunity to thank you, Dee for all the time and effort you put into this forum. You seem to be here 24 hours a day.
I also want to thank you for your wise and thoughtful advice.
It is great to see your contribution to our class, the 20 odd something other classes, and the numerous other threads that you respond to.
Now that I have finished sucking up it is back to not drinking.

Last night husband says to me that I need to overcome this depression thing, and then I can start having a beer or two, but this needs to come first. Oh, and to not take any more vicodin.

He's trying to be helpful, but I want to pull my hair out!! Doesn't he realize it's all the same damn thing. My bulimia, depression, drinking, pills, etc...it's all the SAME

day 27 here and this week has been the worst for cravings, restlessness and etc. but still here alcohol free. would like to copy what fubar said about Dee being here helping others ALL THE TIME. what a selfless service you're performing here and thank you!!

Hi all-
Wow, what a big group! This is awesome, and it's great to see everyone doing well. What a difference not drinking makes. So many positives-- from how I feel, to my energy levels to even how I look.

It's tough to make a change like this, but so worth it.

Day 14 - never imagined how satisfying this accomplishment would feel. Off to work with a smile on my face and enjoying the feeling of serenity. Thank you all for the encouragement and support - y'all are amazing!!

I hear ya nel. I've been pretty blah all week too. Tired, not feeling great. I need sun! It's been cloudy here all week, which doesn't help. Neither does the pms
