Man this thread has a life of it's own. Just ran again. Cold drizzly rain, harsh winds, sore back. Can you say 'grouchy'? I'm having huge mental blocks in that I try to talk myself out of competing. I need a sports psychologist. I better do some reading or sumfin - gotta get rid of this block. Physically, I may be prepared, but mentally I am not. Busy afternoon here at work be back later. |

Thanks for the vid louis. I started seizing though and couldn't finish watching it. Ro, you have a beautiful voice. I didn't know you were a member of a band. I hope that somehow you're aches and pains go away. The weather certainly doesn't help. Stoney, these vids can't possibly compare to your canal pics. Come on now. I'm back, yes still sober, alive and well, YAY. I told her about my addiction and my recovery, cha ching, the papers are all ready to be filed, I just have to fill out a financial stack of papers about 10  and mail them back and then we file a motion for money immediately. I told her not to talk to him when he calls because it costs me money, cha ching, she laughed and said how are we suppose to settle this if she doesn't talk to him, oh well, I tried. Thank you all of you for the kind words & flowers sent to me You peeps are the bestest friends I ever thought I would have. I have to say though, when I was getting ready to leave work I was very nervous and the thought of a xanax popped into my head, just for a second but I have to be honest, it did come into my head, thank God I don't have any. I left her office and was driving and there on the sidewalk were two people I know from the rooms, ha ha HP at work again. I feel good, I feel like I have taken another Step forward in my new sober life.  Lis, glad to see you online honey.Ro, my leg is killing me, I had to walk 2 blocks from parking lot to her office, I was almost in tears from the damn pain, but I did it. Walking back didn't hurt as much. Got my leg up now as I'm on here. |

Glad it went well, Bee. Sorry about your leg, though. Dang that's awful. Once again, I am grateful that I can't get YouTube at work - so I don't have to see those crummy vids where I am apparently singing! Lis - can I have a piece of coconut cream pie, please? |

Yay. Bee is at home chillin' now. I just mega cleaned my stove. Now I gotta install the dern thang. And no, Lis, I'm no do it yourself TV guy. I'm just your average, I can do some stuff but not big stuff, at home fixer upper guy. Really though, it's all about confidence. I'm sure a professional linoleum laying person would laugh at how I did my floor. It sure turned out nice though. I guess the ends justifies the means in this case. 'Nuff ''bout the floor. Ro, it might be a crummy vid but you're so pretty. How's your back, still achey? |
