I had dental surgery on Wednesday and while it doesn't hurt really bad it is annoying and I'm exhausted. My husband is annoying me to no end. We got her at the beginning of the month and I'll be darned if he hasn't done a thing to help get things unpacked. I'm just waiting for my Mother to come up from Nor Cal to help. She is such a great organizer and we'll have this place ship shape in no time. Oh, and they want to remove my tonsils and I don't want to do it. I'm looking at another winter of strep and pain if I don't, but I just don't want to do it. /end pity party...the Tylenol has kicked in.

I slept in with a million things to do today. Going away tomorrow and have two sets of "surprise" company "dropping in" sometime today. I hate vague plans, I like to be able to plan and also to not be housebound all day waiting for company to show up. Oh well, it's summer and at least we can get outdoors. Morning Whiners

No whines yet but I'll work on thinking up a good one before the end of the day.

Good morning whiners. I have been busy but I am still doing a little Face to Face whining in the coffee shops here in TO. :0 I am running out of time. Thanks to the 90 whines in 90 days program I am still sober though.

I found my whine when I went out to walk the dogs: it's 86 degrees F and feels like 90, with a lot of humidity. I asked my neighbor to help me install my ac units and hope he can do it today as this house is like an over.

Meant to say "this house is like an OVEN"... New whine: kids who demand I get them supplies that we already have at home cause they don't believe we have it! So I got what they asked for then came home and showed them what we already had!!!

Nothing from me. Except...I "thought" I may have had extra SR time..I may go out of town and have to get busy tomorrow. But..Mother decided to fry chicken now. You know..the only she has left to do is cook ...and do dishes. (She does quite well at cooking, too!) When that goes..she says..she might as well pack it up. I will not take it away from her. But I have to keep an eye out..constantly. Like now..she's lying down..and the chickies are frying away... lol. God bless her.

Zip, one set of company showed up and the other didn't, but all in all it was a good day, albeit very very hot. Heading out early today for the island. Severe thunderstorms should make the boat trip to the island "interesting" but I know we'll have a good time regardless of weather. What's a few lightening bolts and flying trees to a couple of codies catching up on our news on the front porch overlooking the lake. Dee is my designated whiner, and CMC can be my Haiku stand-in. ![]() Keep the whines flowing, gang.
