morning everyone. I didnt get enough sleep and Im tired. anyway all animals to feed let out before I get ready for meeting so I will talk later. Lizzy never made cantact about doing chair, hope her plane is not delayed!!!!!

Happy Birthday BEE !!  here is a picture of the lis gang offering gifts to you!! can you spot me??First sober birthday in 5 years. I hope you have many more. Last year I did not know you existed and this year I value your opinion and support. You have been a good friend to me BEE and often the reason I turn on my computer. Keep giving back......it suits you. Whatever you do today big or small remember ..........you are loved.  |

I might be doing more 12 step work today.....I have been asked to go along with a more experienced member again. Now we just have to see if the guy is on for it today or not. I hope it happens, I enjoyed it last time.

If I could, I'd have a marching band coming up your driveway right now, followed by a gorgeous hunk bearing a HUGE bouquet, followed by a slew of personal "head hunters" prepared to scout the world for the perfect job, followed by all of us and those who love you so much, but then you'd be late for your meeting and wouldn't have made the COFFEE. So.....maybe next year??? In truth, all of what Nel said is so true. Your positive attitude, your fortitude when things get dicey, your spiritual connection and your support of others is an inspiration to me as well. Happy birthday believe... Think i am making my way round the boards saying that... :o) Thanks for the welcome guys.... I was meant to be building pheasant pens today with my friend and her husband... but woke up at 4.30am and by the time it i was ready to leave i wanted back to bed... so did... I am going to go to a meeting tonight... crash at my friends and then can help build pens tomorrow... sounds like a plan :o) Strange day today... got a letter for appt to see a psychologist come through... its only take 13 months... its lucky i wasnt desperate hey? Dont want to go now... im in a huff with them :o( Hope you are all well and have a peaceful/happy day |

Nel, I am so sorry, but I won't be able to make it....I forgot about MY step meeting this a.m. which I can't miss because my NEW sponsor is expecting me. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Besides, I can't talk about the soccer team alone without Bee and her "toys" and you and your "animals" (no sheep though) HeeHee...love you Nelsie!!!!!! Really and truly, If I could, I would. Enough! I'm a good girl, I am! I threw out my toys, remember? Not long afterward I was in the bughouse, remember?? LOL I have a massive headache the tumour seems to be back. Ick ick ick. Maybe it was the sugar overdose late last night. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEE! I wish we lived closer so I could take you out to a movie and we could share popcorn then go out for awesome coffee sitting in leather recliners and talk and talk and talk! I hope you have a wonderful day - you deserve it! I'm just having a bit of a lie-in. Going to meet my sponsor at the meeting this afternoon - she's going through a difficult time and needs lots of support right now. I hope you get to go on that 12-Step call, Stone. Meeting was great, I kind of figured lizzy was not going to make it so I had one of my sponsees on stand by. she celebrated 6 months sober yesterday and did her first chair this morning. She shook for the first half, but she survived. she is a great strong member of the group and works hard at her program. Her chair was very raw and real, with great hope also. This lead to a meeting where 2 women and a man cried , and shared back about stuff that came up for them around their kids and not having them in their lives etc... WE talked of toxic relationships, letting go, co dependancy, people pleasing, looking for approval and secrets that families keep.....and drinking on each and every one of them.

I don't like doing that!!! I told them afterwards, I will not greet anymore, lol.
