Wait, am I the first one?? Not possible! Doing well here, it's been in the 90s for days and I love it! Went for a hike in a new nature park nearby that recently opened. Legs are feeling tired, which means it was a good hike! The views were beautiful too... some mountains and a lot of farmland in the distance. Today is day 14. Sometimes when I've been sober more than a few days I'm amazed by how distant my drunken days feel. Almost like another lifetime. Of course, I've felt that way before and it didn't stop me from drinking again :/. Haven't really had many cravings yet so I'm enjoying that. Nands I'm so jealous of your trip! You guys better take a picture and email it to me! Where has LB been? Have I missed her posting? Seems like I haven't seen her in awhile. Hope everyone is having a nice day  .

Passport is here  Pix if you talk to alley tell her she can quit holding her breath  Work is going amazingly well as far as I'm organized and i "look good".....but still workin on what was due at 8am this morning and had 3 more "problems" come up already .... but it's ok...I can only do what i can! Hope you are all sober and happy today

been a little down today...but its ok cause i know i'll feel fine later....just a lot to do for work and for the trip..but i'm focused and on the ball...plus i have some friends ...a-hem (you know who you are) that i want to spend some time with. i'm gonna go do something now not saying what cause i think i've said i was gonna do it about a million times and its still not done!

God I'm so jealous!! ...Pixy, you're driving, right? You've seen nands' car-in-a-ditch picture? Day 17 today. Have had a few minor cravings here and there but am mostly preoccupied with how fat I am! I might have already mentioned this, but I learned that anti-depressants can cause weight gain that is really hard to take off, even after you quit. I gained 15 POUNDS on the Prozac (and I'm only 5 feet tall!). I've been off it for about 5 weeks now but no budge of the scale yet, even without the alcohol and associated snacking. HUFF!!  Sorry to the boys for this girly interlude...

CG...the boys like the girly enterludes...makes them feel smug and manly lol The fat thing sucks....I was packing last night and had to try on all my clothes to see if they even fit....It kinda sucks that when i drank i lost weight...in fact my episode earlier this month caused me to loose 6 lbs... It's REAL important to rember better a fat sober nands then a slim and sexy drunken lush...believe me How many times do I have to point out that I am a GOOD driver and a GOOD navigator...i just can't do both at the same time!!! MMM my laptop is dead so i can't upload a picture of the car in the ditch hi ho hi ho time

Mmmm........... CG the car thing is a consern lol I have to teach nands roubdabouts before she gets in the car!! As for the weight! been at weight watchers for last 5wks and lost £22!! no weight just money! Jason take my weight and keep it!! I'm not mutch taller at 5'3" Alley will be here today!!! in 12hrs or so lol how very strange! Catch you all in the morning in between the housework before she arrives lol PS Nands did you get my PM about the car?? |
