I posted a long witty post and lost it!!!! Nands and Alley have gone to collect the rental car. Partner has gone with them so they can follow him back. Just got a call from other half to say the company have made a mistake and they have no manual cars  Alley will be a very nervous passanger! not just because of the gear thing, that will be the final straw but Nands told us today that she has been advised that she should watch the passanger side of the vehicle as that is the most likely side to smash into a mail box  our mail box's are on the foot path so I'd be conserned to!!

GRIN  I'm soooooooooo jazzed.....problem with the car..no auto's so got a manual....credit card ejected...but got it accepted (this keyboard is driving me nuts)Did a roundabout....had to take a detour to the hopital as alley had a heart attach!!! but they patched her up and we finished the drive home with no further problems  ok..I'm as chuffed as if i'd bungie jumped! and we may still work that into the itenerary! company...post later

Been thinking about the various "Class of" threads somewhat lately since the Class of July 08 that I'm in now has a partner Class of July 09 going. Anyway....I noticed that you are in part 11 here in your November class. You're a chatty bunch and I mean that in the most positive way. We're only on part 7 and we've been going a year. |

I'm surprised I even fit in the suitcase! Perhaps it got diverted to assess if it's actually possible for a human to weigh so much! Either way, not a good first impression... sorry guys! I'm terrified of this nands driving situation. I hope you've all bought up your insurance! So... when do we get pictures of the lovely ladies?

Hmmm... well I wrote a long post and then lost it :wtf2 Long story short: Hi JIT! We used to be a lot chattier, we've quieted down a lot in the last few months. 11 parts is still pretty crazy though!

Jason  thats fantastic!!JIT come join us  as CG said we used to be chattier but a few people went awol and there are less of us now so it seems quiet.Well tonights our last evening, Nands and Alley are off to pastures new  I have to say it's been a very surreal, positive few days. They have put up with a lot. Alley has had to listen to the constant domestic heated discussions at home and is a real life Spell Check (alley knows what I mean) As for Nands she is a ray of sunshine that has brightend up our home and will take that brightness with her as she travells up the country. I've ran out of icons, huff! |

Decided against the ghost walk since is pouring with rain and we are having a lazy night in the hotel watching tv and reading sr  It's just like being at home. I can't tell you what a good time I am having That isn't sarcastic lol I am really enjoying myself

Good to hear Ally. You are allowed to enjoy yourself you know, think we're all guilty of forgetting that sometimes !!!!!!!! Its easy to focus on the not drinking bit and forget that life's supposed to be fun. You do know that ghosts don't come out in the rain anyway though, right ?

Don't believe her for a minite lol All was well..was handling roundabouts and makeing great left/right and right/left turns, figured out what go straight means on a roundabout and how to know if inner or outer rings were the right place to be...did forget to yeild and check trafic...but only got beeped at twice and only killed the car a few times. However by 4pm getting close to doodley (snicker) we struggled cause we couldn't get on M5....drove several detours and finally got on...10 minites later we couldn't get off! Lots of double backs....Alley's smile was growing rather thin I think.... Then I realized not only were we runing a half hour late for our meet up with digger, but....I forgot we didn't have internet access and hadn't printed out his phone number or the name of the pub we were meeting at....we sorta hoped we would just run into him by chance (we have had alot of luck on road changes that way today) ....but finally cried uncle and called pix to get his number for us..... And digger is such a sweatheart he met up with us anyways even though we were 1.5 hours late. Jason...no sheep yet...but alley assures me we will see many and my batteries will be recharged by then....Oh and i forgot to tell you last night..did you know the sheep have tails here? Alley wanted to know why we cut the tails off in america...and i assured her it was simply becuase in the midwest we get board on sunday nites and decide why not cut a few sheep tails off (grin) Jason :{ why are you tired???? this won't do at all I'ts well heck i don't know what time it is here...but alley is asleep already and i've got roads to map and repacking to do but will be in bed soon i think....Jason!!!!! send me a pm or email.Deee......guess what...I have my I am woman hear me roar hat back on...watch out!!! miss the daily chatter.... we might not have internet much till sunday, but hopefully louis and jig will let us post on thiers....oh...stoney is next on our hit list laters!

oh yeah..forgot to mention...I'm pretty glad I'm sober, and the people who post on SR are real people...not all that different from they are on the internet....love it
