Yes Nel I am happy. I am happy that I did not drink today. I am happy that I got many things done today. I am happy for you and the others on LIS. I am happy that I am breathing. I am happy I got a ride to my car so I didn't have to walk back to it. I am happy you are happy.  |

Hey Everyone! Happy 4th for those in the states and Happy Sat for those that are not! Our family was in a parade today, dressed as pirates, which was a lot of fun. Last year, I was hungover...it was MUCH more fun this year, needless to say. Anyways, there are visiting Tall Ships and there was one from RUSSIA! The cadets (?) didn't speak any English and I wish I could have read their minds about their impressions of America! Just think, not all that long ago, our countries were on opposite sides. It warms my heart that the fences we humans have built, are slowly (too slowly!) being torn down. We have only one world after all and we are more alike than not. Hope you all are well! e PS Nel's Bells....multiple pages ago, you asked why I don't respond to your posts...I THINK I do, so I'm sorry if I missed the boat somewhere along the way!  |

Hi Hos...I saw the tall ships in Ireland once and one other time when I was in Barcelona. sounds like you had a nice day. Glad your not ignoring me  ....lolI think I was only playing with you because you didnt answer something i asked a lot of posts ago. |

I hope Ro is enjoying herself, I am sure she is, once she gets pass the bugs. I HATE Bugs so I would not be too happy right now. When I went to AA Picnic there were bugs and I had to leave because they were getting on me well not just the bugs, I have that dreaded fear of people. Yuck.

I hate when it says that, dont they know we are iimpatient alcoholics lol. I also hope rowan is safe and content. I really hope the break does her good. I was a little concerned about her friends drinking though. I hope they are just social drinkers. Its ok under normal circumstances when you can make an exit if it gets uncomfortable but in a situation like a cottage at a lake  |

Yeah but I really think she will be fine. I think she works a good program and she would never do anything to mess up her relationship with her daughter. She will be okay. She's very strong and I think this weekend will do her a world of good. She won't have time to be depressed. It's hard to be depressed when you are with others doing things. I don't think she would have friends that are heavy drinkers, do you?

Would love to go to bed early tonight but can't due to picking up dk and bf after the fireworks. So have to stay up at least two more hours. I'll be in and out - watching a movie on the computer too - for a while. Since I can't go to sleep I'll just stay busy to pass the time.

well, I finally went to sleep and its 2:50AM my daughter just got in, dogs went crazy barking, 2 little dogs barking crazy woke me up, daughter got clothes and went to friends to sleep over, now I am wide awake  I am gonna be one miserable tired puppy later today. I don't like these dogs too much right now. I hate their barks and they bark whenever we come home, when we leave, when a car passes the house, they just bark for everything. I think I already said this in another post. Now they are sleeping again and I'm awake. I should start barking maybe & wake their little butts up.
