|  morning Stone. I hope you slept again!!morn everyone else on lis this morning....IM off to a meeting and then I am going to try and get hold of lawn mower repair man.......it just wont work......hubby tried and still nothing. Its raining here at the moment so It not urgent but important. The chick died....  |

Good for you, staying busy. I think my daughter is having friends over and we all know what that means!!! Beer Pong. ugh. My son went to Pennsylvania to visit with his girlfriends family this weekend. Keeping my prayers going that I find some work. Well, gonna get ready for my meeting, see ya later alligator.  |

I plan on doing very little today other than walk the dogs. I will celebrate the holiday by staying home and taking it easy.

Good for you Least.......take a wel deserved break from playing taxicab etc. Believe hope the meeting was good. The meeting I went to was great and I am bursting with gratitude. The young chap that did the chair is only around about 5 months, but he was delighted to have found the fellowship and it showed. He keep it very simple, he shared he cant read or write so he listens hard in the rooms and to his sponser.... and he just shared the way it was ....how he got here.... and the way it is now. Shared about being on step 3 and how some stuff haunts him still which he hopes to deal with as he moves on but he is starting to trust his HP more, Shared about his daughted coming back into his life recently. I have watched this young fella physcially change, as well as spiritually and mentally. He works a good program and could teach us all there this morning a thing or two. I told him so. Hi espresso....hope you have a nice day. hi rusty! Stone!! Get on with ur chores....lol |

nelcs, those are sometimes the best shares aren't they? How it is, and no airs and graces. Mindful of the yellow card, let's just say I have to really remember "Principles before Personalities" when certain people share their high class problems...and that's all you do get! I know, each to their own which I agree with. I am human though....and full of hormones!!! |

Hi Espresso, Nel, Least & Stoney Just got back from meeting, there was a parade going on and I had to park my car & walk about 1 mile, its hard because of my back problems but I did it all the while saying to myself, Go Any Lengths!!! And the Serenity Prayer over and over. Got there made coffee and waited then did my greeting committment. Not too many people showed up but those who did, had to walk there also. Nel, your meeting sounded really great. I'm a little worn out already and my back is hurting but I'll be okay. Just gonna mellow out here, daughters going to a barbeque, son is gone for weekend. Me and the dogs I do have to finish my mowing job, gonna wait a while then do it. I'll keep checking in, see you guys later. Have a nice day. |

Got the dogs walked, still bored and anxious. Maybe a nap this afternoon. I should mow my yard too but don't have the energy to do it today. The grass will have to keep on growing til I feel like mowing it. Wondering when this upgrade will happen...

I hope to get to a meeting in the morning with a friend. There is a lovely little meeting about 10 miles from where I live on a sunday morn and sometimes I go as a bonus meeting if I am not tied up with family committments. coffee and a natter after. I like it. | |

Starting to feel almost sane after getting some sleep for the last two nights. I understand the Doctors caution about tablets but I don't think he quite realised how dangerous lack of sleep is for me with my mental history (breakdown) and depression etc. The melatonin should arrive soon, I hope that helps.

Finished most of the laundry, folded and put away clothes for both kids, otherwise they will end up in laundry again without being worn.  Made cold pasta w/chicken salad, daughter decided not to go to her bosses for barbeque too much traffic so she went to her friends and left me 4lbs macaroni salad, UGH what am I gonna do with that much salad and no one here except me eats it.

Slept for a few hours, not feeling as anxious as I was. Ck is off to her dad's for a cookout and then the fireworks, and dk is at a friend's until after the fireworks. So I have the house to myself again for the evening. Managed to do dishes and put away some laundry, but that's enough work for one day for me. I'm glad I live several miles away from where the fireworks are done so the dogs won't be able to hear the loud noise and be scared. I used to take the kids to the fireworks when they were younger but now I don't even go near them due to the crowds and traffic. Too old and tired to deal with all that...

Peeps... Thanks for the 4th well wishes for us Americans! :ghug2: And wishing a Happy Fourth to all here.  :  My sis and I are going to dinner later, it is 107 now at 3 p.m...too hot do much else. then off to see awesome fireworks at 9;30 at our local college. Lol Stoney..I knee you were being facetious..rascally one.

HI Believe....are ya happy tonight. I hope you are having a nice 4th. I guess its just another day as regards us and alcohol. I used any excuse to drink. I would have tried using the 4th of july if I thought I would get off with it .....(well my sis lives in the states does that count!!. Pity we dont get on ...........bet she is sipping wine now. she sips a lot of it lol My night is coming to a close with all animals and humans fed and watered lol... Just had sponsee on phone for ages, in a bit of a state. A little better now for sharing and I am a little more grateful for the chance to help. |
