The good news is I renewed my yearly gym membership yesterday and it didn't go up in price. The bad news is now that I paid for it and I am cheap I have to go to the gym for another year. I am tired of going to the gym every day. Doesn't an old timer like me deserve a rest?

I had planned a 10 km hike this morning, but sheesh, it's raining so I'll drive instead.

My daughter and I used to join a gym every April (to get ready for bathing suit season )...we'd last until about the first week of June and then throw in the towel (literally).

We used to walk home from highschool about five miles (to save bus money for cigarettes). The only other times I ever walked any distance was on the boardwalk...when you're aimlessly walking, you can walk forever, but don't give me a set distance!

If it isn't done sitting down, it isn't done anymore. Except, of course,

The computer is running slower than slow! Have to keep reminding myself slow is better than not at all. Gratitude, rae, gratitude!
