To make matters worse, pk just called me with baby screaming in the background. Wants me to 'come over' to do what?? I told her I've got to get kids to school and work and will come over after I've fed the dogs, again, to do what?? I'm not feeling at all well myself and don't think I can tolerate a screaming baby when I feel like throwing up myself...

I have no idea what she wants me to do, I only wish I could stay home and try to get some sleep as I didn't get much last night...

Dee, I'm going to try desperately to focus on myself this morning. Pk may be mad at me but I need some sleep more than anything. I'm hoping baby goes to sleep before she calls me again, wanting my presence...

There's a week's worth of dirty dishes in the sink since ck refuses to wash them, but I'm not doing them! The house is a wreck with clothes and junk all over, but I'm not cleaning it up!

Nope dead wrong. A good whiner can take any positive event and find a whine in there somewhere.
1./ I have to get up for the gym on this holiday,2./ my wife is still sleeping and snoring to disturb my posting time, and 3./ the gym will be packed with people who should be at work and not in my way while I work out. Another Canadian tradition------- A Hat Trick.

Pk just called me asking why I wasn't over there yet!!! When I started to cry and asked if I could take a little nap first, she hung up on me!! So I guess I'm not welcome over there today if I'm not "giving"...

Sick of it all, I shall feed the dogs and go back to bed, to hell with the rest of the world... or at least, my kids!

Ann, could you lower your voice a little, my ears are hurting, ha ha.

I just finished part of the lawn, 2 hrs worth, my back is killing me, my pressure is so high I took a cool shower and I had goose bumps on my body. I swear as soon as I find a damn job the first thing I'm doing is getting someone to mow the lawn for me. My son is so damn lazy he put it off so long it was a jungle out there. I'm too old for this stuff. Maybe I'll start a business with phone s*x. Hey worth a shot.

That's my whine today.

Turning out to be a f'd up day. Pk and family has my van so grandma is picking up dk at school. Still so anxious I can't stand it. Maybe back to bed. When all else fails, go to sleep...

Now I'm pissed... Just got my new cell phone battery in the mail and can't get the old one off!!! Sh!t...

Thank God for my kids' superior tech knowledge... dk got it right off! So now have a new battery so the phone's charge will last longer than it has been...

I had just 'found' it the day before Fluttering posted something with the same theme on her thread in CIR. I love to 'listen' to life too, especially here on SR.

Enough of that off topic stuff
Here's the after the allergy shot whine:
I feel soooooo crummy, and even though my dearest mr cmc is cooking steak and fresh veggies for dinner- plus baking brownies; it won't make me feel any better. (Just loved and well-fed)

Words seem so pale for how I feel: Crummy with a capital "C," crummy to the max, crummy to the tenth power, crummy to infinity.

Today I am a grateful member of Whiner's Anonymous.

The skies are clear, the fireworks are on...and are across the bay from my place so I can just pull a lawn chair out on my lawn and watch the display (you can hear it well from here too). Even Toby will like it because he's deaf now so the noise doesn't scare him and he likes the lights...and getting to stay up later.
King Bubba thinks he will be going to bed early (he gets up really early) but methinks he will hear the fireworks and come see...who can resist good fireworks.

Now my dilemma? Does this negate my earlier whine? Is there a penalty here for negated whines? If "what if" doesn't happen, are we punished? Are Canadians allowed to whine and negate all they want on Canada Day, Eh?

I couldn't find this answer in the Whiners Anonymous Handbook aka WAH.
