Swine flu at the moment seems to be like mild flu. My theory is that it's best to get it now before it mutates and turns into something really nasty. We're all still at work, altho none of us are looking too good, I must admit. I stopped taking codeine yesterday, so that feels like flu anyways. I'm used to feeling like this, I've been in withdrawal so many times, lol!! Pix, I have lost the cable that connects the camera to the computer, but I shall try and scan some photos. she is part arab, 14.3 hh, and a bit hot-headed and spooky. There have been times I've wondered if I did the right thing buying her for my daughter, but I ride her if she gets too mad!! I'm very proud of my girl because a month ago she was getting run away with all over the place. The pony is 15 years old, which is quite old! Goodness knows what she was like when she was younger - uncontrollable, I would have thought. We love her though - she follows us around like a big dog!

Drama queens indeed hummph! Well done Jason! Yeah pix - she has a really thin silky coat, and if she gets in too much rain, I find her shivering, bless her! Also they need stuffing with food over winter. I'm even feeding her now in summer just to keep weight on her! Not like hardy native ponies who get fat on fresh air!

| it's only life after all |
Hi all, Just stopping in to say hi. Going on day 3 now after the holiday (which I started celebrating a couple of weeks early). Doing pretty well except for last night I was so annoyed with every single thing that I was throwing things on the floor, yelling at inanimate objects, screaming, having a literal temper tantrum! It lasted a couple of hours then slowly went away. Ended up having a nice holiday weekend away. Did a couple of hikes, played frisbee, and hung out. LB - swine flu, huh? I swear I had it in April myself, right when they were starting to talk about it. Nands I'm so jealous you get to meet everyone! I'm considering the suitcase option. I think you guys should take a picture of yourselves together and send it to those of us who can't be there!

I'm in a bit of a down swing today.....but i'm managing...drinking not an option at the moment. I seem to be stumbling over the same stumbling blocks as i did my first sobriety (which only lasted 2.5 years)....I know i've got to make some different choices, but i don't know how...really stuck. But that said...i'm a scrapper and i'm not givng up on this deal. I'm mostly right now trying to develop an awareness of the next indicated thing and then find a way to do that skillfully. pix...i've sent you an email and i'll send you the flight schedule when i get home tonight...i'm up in the air about alot of things but have a general plan...
