Hi everyone! Checking in before I get put on "the list". I don't want to know what Santa Nands has in store for those people. I'm really determined to take advantage of the summer this year so I've been out and about in the world a lot and not at the computer as much.

Monday night I went to a funeral for the 4-year-old son of my friends from college. He died from leukemia. It was very sad, plus it ended up being a mini college reunion and threw me off kilter a bit. I ended up drinking after it.

I'm trying to get straight back on track.

So glad tomorrow's Friday! Work has been really busy and I've put in a lot of extra hours. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

It concerns me that it was easier to do the extra work drunk than it is to do so sober...perhaps the guilt of drinking was a motivator for me....

I ache from head to toe! I have stripped all the wall paper in the dining room, (well the stuff underneath still needs to come off with soapy water) put a protection coat on the kitchen work top, grouted the tiles (my nails are now trashed!

) And in between ran a house of 4 kids and 2.5 dogs!!

Got to be up at 8 as kids have football and play rehersals and ponies must be sorted!!

I miss u all!

computers are BOTH still acting up, but between the two of them i think i will be able to manage short chats, paying bills and listening to music

Feeling pretty dmn grateful for the friends and the life I have this evening...despite a rough and grumpy start.
